Since Adam (AW) was sent on this planet, God Almighty started sending guidance to mankind in different forms. Generally, all natures of guidance were in respect of how to pass the temporary life in this world so as to achieve a respectable and glorious eternal life.

As humanity advanced, the Creator continued to give enlightenment and guidance in a more reformed order through divine revelation of the Holy Books to His Prophets. The four known Holy Books, which descended through the Great Prophets are the Tourat, Zaboor, Enjeel (Bible) and finally, the Holy Qur’an.

The above mentioned books of guidance were revealed at certain intervals corresponded to the timely requirements, and to the human mental development at that time.

None of the first three books are available in its factual form, as people had revised them in accordance with their needs and desires.

The Holy Qur’an, which is the last book sent through Prophet Muhammad (SAWs) (the seal of all Prophets), is the only divine book available in its original form. God, His Almighty, guaranteed the protection of its contents, and shall abide to be induced as long as mankind exist on this planet i.e. until the Day of Judgement.

The protection of the contents of the Holy Qur’an has been authenticated by thousands of people who have memorized the Holy Book by heart, and is a miracle that such big book could be remembered boldly in its very minute details. This explains why the contents of the Holy Qur’an remains the same as they were 1400 year ago when the book was revealed to the last Prophet. In view of all the above discussion, the Holy Qur’an is proven beyond any doubt as the latest and updated edition of the original Holy Bible and other earlier Holy books sent by our Creator.

The ultimate significance is that, the Holy Qur’an is a direct means of communication between the Creator and His creation; and its contents remained untouched, and shall stay unchangeable as God has guaranteed and shall guard its authenticity. A proof that the Qur’an bears its genuineness is that, what was described 1400 year ago is now being confirmed by the Modern Science and Technologies.

By reading the Holy Qur’an, one shall attest without any shadow of doubt that it is not possible for any human being to produce such an abreast and informative book of the time. It is only by means of God’s Divine Revelation through His Prophet. It is a guidance and enlightenment to all mankind, and a source of great development and success in this world as well as in the life hereafter. So, we must firmly believe in it.

Those who miss to read the Holy Qur’an "THE MOST IMPORTANT BOOK" and do not follow the guidance given therein, will suffer a great loss which no one can ever imagine. There is Eternal World where everybody will be accounted for his or her own deeds justifiably.

So as to save oneself from such a devastating situation, one does need guidance and enlightenment, which could not be acquired from anywhere else except through the Holy Qur’an. It shall be born in mind, that no one but our Creator who made the heavens and the earth can guide His creatures to the way of salvation.

For the Holy Qur’an sent by the Creator resembles to a manufacturers’ operation manual that gives instructions and guidance to the machinery owner. Likewise, Almighty Allah offered us His book as to handle ourselves in the best way possible and get the optimum results out of the book for this life as well as for the life hereafter.

Those who have studied the book and its meaning do realize that, it is an essential reading for all those who want to know the very purpose of their existence.

The Holy Qur’an does contain a powerful message capable of transforming a raw human being into a refined one; who will not only be useful to himself and his family but also to his nation, and utmost to the world as well.

The study of the Holy Qur’an is given in Arabic language provided by the parents of the child through private tutor at home, which has become a custom. This is done with no devotion to the meaning of the Holy verses and its practical implications for the Non-Arabic speaking population. It is only then a mere reading and recitation without contemplating the message.

For Arabic speaking population, the Holy Qur’an is not easy to be understood as the Qur’anic language is a classical form of Arabic, and they themselves still need further explanation. Furthermore, very little if at all any effort is spent on understanding the Holy Book and its message, more so because Holy Qur’an is learnt at a very tender age, between 5 to 10 years which generally helps in getting only a little fluency in reciting the Holy verses and not a complete comprehension.

After the child completes the Holy Qur’an, a function is held. The child is garlanded and is congratulated for his accomplishment. Parents are satisfied that they have done their duty to God. The child wraps the Holy Book aside and never opened again in 90% cases. If he does, it will only be a mere recitation without understanding, no pondering of the spirit of the message and its application in practical life. This has caused a total ignorance of the Holy Book contents.

Ignorance of the Holy Qur’an has lead mankind to stand divided in many factions. It has as well given a chance to the unscrupulous persons who misguide the people and make them believe that, there is something other than the truth. And thereby, not only robbing and depriving them from their worldly belongings but also, snatching them from the golden opportunities to be near to Almighty in order to achieve the right place in the Eternal World.

The world population today is wandering in darkness looking for enlightenment, guidance and leadership. Everyone is playing his own trumpet and people are unaware of the guidelines to follow.

Those at the helm of affairs are truly responsible for this alarming state of events and degeneration of the society and will have to answer Almighty for mishandling their responsibilities.

Our circle of friends consisting of highly educated intellectuals and well placed individuals are fervently concerned and have deep rooted sincerities toward the spiritual and worldly sufferings of the human race. These people have the strongest opinion that en-mass teaching the Holy Qur’an is the only hope for the revival of our society, and no other alternative. We stand doomed without this, and everybody must be aware of it. Under the present circumstances simplistic optimism will lead us to catastrophes.

If the study of the Holy Qur’an, its understanding and abiding to the message are the only way out, then when is the best time to learn? Surely, the excellent time to learn anything goes back to early school days when young minds are responsive.

Hence, we conclude that the only way to handle the situation effectively and seriously is to incorporate the Holy Qur’an in schools as a compulsory textbook at all levels of schooling, and that, examinations should be held.

This will make the students of all levels be aware of the teaching of the Holy Qur’an and by the time they leave the school, they shall be fully conversant and their minds fully saturated with the message of the Creator. They shall not bend under the pressure of worldly upheavals and shall start the implementation of the Qur’anic guidance in their practical lives in natural ways. The Holy Qur’an shall become a part of day to day life, and no one will be misguided and everybody shall carry uniform opinions about his or her day to day affairs in the light of the Holy Qur’an.

"THE HOLY QUR’AN IS TO BE TAUGHT IN MOTHER TONGUE OR IN THE MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION OF THE SCHOOL SO THAT THE CHILD SHALL UNDERSTAND THE HOLY QUR’AN WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY."

This is the simplest way to learn the Divine Book, and the flawless meanings of the message that are directly taken from the Qur’an will avoid differences in between sections as exist in Islam of today.

This will be a revolution in the right direction. One can imagine how the society shall be; when everyone is following the Qur’an in natural ways and live within the indicated routine to see how God’s blessing shall be on such a society.

In this view, we are sending this message to you to embody the Holy Qur’an as a compulsory textbook in schools. This is a great opportunity for those who will be instrumental in this project that will surely benefit them in this life and in the life hereafter. For Allah is the Disposer of all affairs and knows all the secrets of our hearts. God has always a promise for every good thing done. Just imagine how much AJAR you shall earn when you become a participant in contribution to a nation’s call to ISLAM, by truly following guidance from the Holy Qur’an.

Dear brother and sister, life is a worshipping task. Allah created us only to worship Him and to rehabilitate the Earth in accordance with the teaching of Islam.

We sincerely pray that may Allah gives us guidance and courage to successfully carry out the project, and thus, save the coming generations from total degeneration.
